Joseph Paul Uccello

I am an experienced trail lawyer at Mickey Keenan P.A. who represents individuals injured because of the negligence of others. I focus my practice in the areas of automobile, motorcycle, trucking and boating accidents, trip/slip and falls, and negligent security.

I am a third generation Tampa native. Born and raised in West Tampa, I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from The Florida State University. After living in Washington D.C. and New York City, I realized I thoroughly enjoyed helping people and decided the best way to make that into a career was to go to law school. I knew the only place for me to go to law school was home to the Tampa Bay area, and Stetson University College of Law.

While in law school, I found a passion for trial work and focused on trial advocacy. After graduating, I became a criminal defense attorney with the Pinellas County Public Defender’s Office, handling a wide variety of cases from misdemeanors to felonies. Next, I worked for the law firm of Doyle and McCabe, P.A. where I continued helping people arrested for crimes and expanded my practice to include helping people injured by the negligence of others. In 2018, he decided to solely focus on personal injury cases and joined the legal department of one of the largest insurance companies in the United States.

I have tried over 100 cases and for more than 15 years represented thousands of people. I know how to overcome obstacles created by insurance companies, what they are thinking, and how they will try to limit or deny fair compensation to injury victims. I am a zealous trial attorney devoted to advocating on behalf of people injured in the Tampa Bay area and am excited to work for justice every day for each and every one of my clients.
