Biography
Alexa ("Lexie") Larkin is the owner and managing attorney of Larkin Law, LLC. As a former Division I scholarship athlete at Duke University and graduate of the Honors Program at Stetson University College of Law, Attorney Lexie Larkin has a proven work ethic, competitive edge, and pedigree that you want in your attorney. After many years representing clients in the Tampa Bay area, serving in several leadership positions in the legal community, and running her successful law practice, Attorney Larkin has the established reputation and legal acumen that will make you feel confident in your choice. Since 2013, Lexie Larkin has exclusively focused her practice to helping clients navigate major life changes.
In family law matters, Ms. Larkin aims to provide quality and client-focused legal representation to resolve family law issues, both in and outside of court. She has years of experience successfully resolving family law cases at all stages through the collaborative process, mediation, and litigation. Ms. Larkin handles various types of family law matters including those involving divorce, paternity, alimony, child support, parenting (“custody”), prenuptial agreements, enforcement, modification, and relocation. While Ms. Larkin understands the emotional and financial benefit to settling a case amicably, she realizes any case may end up in trial and comes prepared to litigate family law issues in court if necessary.
For estate planning matters, Attorney Lexie Larkin is devoted to financially protecting her clients and their families, both now and in the future. Ms. Larkin guides her clients through the process of creating custom and appropriate estate plans fit for their needs and goals. Ms. Larkin provides a variety of estate planning services to protect her clients and their loved ones in the event of disability or death, including the drafting of last will and testaments, revocable trusts, joint trusts, durable or limited powers of attorney, designation of health care surrogates, living wills, and more.
Ms. Larkin has become a leader in her field and local professional community. From 2017 until 2022, Lexie was selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the State of Florida, an honor received by less than 2.5% of lawyers in the State. For the past several years, Ms. Larkin also received an AV Preeminent rating by her peers from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating in both legal and ethical standards. Attorney Larkin has also been selected to participate in several local leadership programs, including the Hillsborough County Bar Association Leadership Institute and Tampa Connection. She has also served in leadership roles on the Executive Council of the Hillsborough County Bar Association Family Law Section and an officer of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers.
Ms. Larkin received her Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction (cum laude) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009, where she participated as a varsity athlete on the track and field team and graduated early before her scheduled graduation date. Ms. Larkin completed the honors program and received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2013.
