Biography
While attending law school, Laurel completed a certified internshipwith Gulf Coast Legal assisting in all aspects of domestic violencelitigation. Additionally, Laurel completed a seminar course onadoptions and focused other coursework on the areas of estate planning.
After receiving her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson UniversityCollege of Law, Laurel served two years as an Assistant AttorneyGeneral in the Child Support Enforcement Division representing theState of Florida Department of Revenue in matters related to theestablishment of paternity and child support; modification of supportjudgments and support enforcement.
After leaving the Office of the Attorney General, Laurel worked fora civil litigation firm in Tampa, Florida where she gained valuableexperience in all areas of family law including dissolution ofmarriage, custody modification, and enforcement of existing there, Laurel expanded her practice to include contract legalservices for several firms in the Tampa Bay area before opening her ownfirm, Laurel C. Farrell, P.A.
