Repeatedly asked for a waiver of speedy trial so I would have some time to help gain more info on my behalf. After repeatedly asking he refused to waive my speedy trial and now has us going to trial completely unprepared and without psychological evaluation which could have greatly improved my chance...s of a mitigated sentence. After I expressed my frustration with him not doing what I asked he began to get frustrated with me, told me I had no defense and walked away from me without addressing any of my concerns. As far as I know, even if he thought it was not in my best interest to waive speedy since I told him several times he still should have requested a later date...he himself was uncomfortable with the amount of time given to prepare for trial. If you are given this man to represent you I advise you decide to represent yourself.
