Jeffrey Lawrence Thomas

Mr Thomas represented my ex wife in her criminal case in which she was arrested for battery. Jeff called me twice making light of domestic violence and harassing me. He started asking me personal questions about my personal life when he was only to speak of the criminal case. He then intimidated me... by threatening to file some absurd action. He has been reported for his misconduct, harassments and intimidation to the Florida Bar.

I hired Mr. Thomas to help me with a Marchman Act filed against me. This was filed against me to get me into involuntary residential treatment, though I was already in voluntary treatment at a lower level. I would have been perfectly content if we could have kept my lower level of care with the Ma...rchman Act enforced. Mr. Thomas was able to get the entire case dismissed. If you know anything about Marchman Acts, they never get dismissed and are always enforced. I am amazed by Mr. Thomas's savvy and approach in court. He was always available to answer my questions and kept me up to date on all details. In my opinion, Mr. Thomas is the only choice in Tampa for any Criminal defense, DUI and DWI, Speeding,traffic ticket, or family law needs. I give him my highest recommendation. Thanks again Jeff!

Jeff told me that my case is easy to be dismissed before getting my money. After he got the money, he changed his words and start to state that its hard to be dismissed and I have to accept a deal to plea guilty and lower the charges. Which I did and I regret it now. During my case, he never called m...e for any update, even no update for court date. he waved my right for speedy trial without calling me or explaining to me what is that. Definitely don't recommend him.

Mr Thomas answered my questions over the phone about how the process works and what needed to happen and it was something I had never been through before and even during the process I was a pain in the ass but he always answered my questions daily, and it was very short notice for what we needed and... he got it taken care of. He was able to get the sentence reduced, and after sitting in the courtroom listening to all the cases before ours and they had attorneys also, I am grateful we had Jeff.

Jeff Thomas is a lawyer with extensive understanding that goes further under the surface than i believe most could understand. He handled my case with an intuitive understanding of the judge and true Discernment of what was needed for the judge to allow for the case to turn in good favor. Jeff did an... excellent job representing me and by the time your done doing what he suggests your odds will improve ten fold what it was. Jeff lit the spark to give me a chance to turn my odds to be respectable on most sides of the court room for my Probation Violation. Reinstated no jail time, great job.
