I needed help in child support case. I had been paying child support with no court order. Due to the circumstances of the mother, the Department of Revenue desired to have a court order. To say we (my girlfriend and I) had a 'wonderful experience' during one of the most stressful times of our lives sounds very contradictory but it was true. Amy was very fair in her billing, knowledgeable about all facets of my child support modification process and a true 'bull dog' as far as strate...gy and negotiation. She also gave us clear possible consequences to our decisions before we made a move which made us extremely comfortable throughout the whole process. She gave advice on issues large and small and was there whenever I had a question or concern. During my original divorce with my ex I had another lawyer that charged me three times as much and never gave me clear information about my case and I ended up overpaying child support and having a horrible visitation schedule with my children. He wrote very few motions and extended my case so long that I ran out of money and ended up with a horrible mediation agreement that I had been forced to live with for 5 years until I hired Amy. Amy was certainly prepared to go to court for us but worked diligently to avoid it and save us money and in the end we walked away (FINALLY) with a mediation agreement we were proud of. We finally got what we wanted without going to court which we NEVER expected! With my ex as difficult as anyone can ever imagine, we certainly had not set our expectations for a good outcome high but were amazed to see Amy pull it off. We literally ended up with even MORE than we had hoped in a best case scenario. My support ended up $150 mth less than we expected, I got the time I wanted for my kids and all of the horrible parts of my last mediation agreement were taken out. Amy is such a smooth talker, my ex is just now starting to realize the effects of the agreement she signed and its been great to have the ability to ignore her insanity due to my amazing mediation agreement. Amy starts with her game face in the parking lot and its all strategy from there. I was able to just sit back and watch knowing I was in good hands. She had control of the situation from the very beginning all the way through to the signing of my new favorite document. I would (and have already) strongly recommend Amy to anyone in need of a focused, driven, fair but strong negotiator. Amy has assured me that my new mediation agreement should see me through until my kids are 18 (11 years from now!) but if I ever need another lawyer she will be the one I will call.

I had the pleasure of having Amy represent me in child support adjustment. She upfront informed of everything to expect. And as things progressed everything she informed me of was on the money. Even down to the littlest detail. She was able to get a contempt of court dismissed and have everything set...tled in a mediation hearing. In which she was great at getting things done and was to the point with apposing counsel. Her representation was so good that she is now representing my wife with her legal issue.
