Exceptional and Experienced Employment/Labor Law Attorney
I had a personal employment/contract related issue to which I was referred to the firm of Wenzel, Fenton, Cabassa which netted a positive result. When my employer was looking for representation, I directed them to this firm and then had the great honor of working with Attorney, Steve Wenzel. Steve ...

Mr. Wenzel was extremely helpful with my case. He was both knowledgable and realistic. I highly recommend his firm for work-related issues. They speak up for the rights of employees and fiercely represent employees at all levels who have been wronged.

Would NOT recommend
I hired Steve Wenzel to represent me in an employment related matter. He was unprofessional in the way he communicated and was not responsive. Although he has extensive legal experience, his work ethic and desire for practicing law are long gone. He is the exact opposite of an aggressive attorney. B...
I have carefully reviewed each and every engagement that I have and have had any time during 2017. This is not review posted by a current or former client who engaged me.

Lost A High Profile Case for Lack of Competency , Case was Later easily won by Another Competent Firm
Hired this Firm to help me with a case, case was accepted the case without really understanding how to help me, lack of communication and true Discernment, caused me to loose time and a very high profile case, easy case with tons of documentation and proof against Corinthian Colleges. My case tha...
This client brought a matter to this law firm which was resolved. It was a contingency fee contract and the firm received its fee in accordance with that contract and in keeping with the rules of the Florida Bar. While the client now expresses some dissatisfaction with those services, it is nevertheless the case that she returned to this law firm with a second legal problem involving Corinthian Colleges. She alleged that she had evidence of wrongdoing by the school and that she was entitled to whistleblowing relief. An investigation of her allegations and the school showed that her allegations were not unique and that the school was already in the process of negotiation with the federal government over the practices about which this client was complaining. Given the status of the federal investigation and our concerns on whether the school would continue in business, the firm declined the opportunity to file a lawsuit. This client was dissatisfied with our decision as is shown by this review which is factually incorrect.
"I proudly endorse this lawyer. For the past 10+ years, we have referred dozens of clients to Steve Wenzel that are in need of a lawyer for wrongful termination, discrimination, not paying overtime, etc. not only in Florida but other states as well. This is the lawyer for you to hire when you need one."
"I know Steve through Temple Terrace Bar Association. Steve is a hard working, knowledgeable attorney, who enjoys the area of law he chose to practice. If I had a labor/employment issue, I would look to Steve first."
"I endorse this lawyer. When people bring up those know employment and labor laws, Steve is always in the conversation."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known attorney Wenzel for about 10 years, and have not hesitated to refer clients to him when transactions which I have worked on later required the assistance of litigation counsel. He is practical as to outcomes/results when counseling clients, highly skilled in protecting clients rights as well as being assertive in endorsing their position."
"Steve is a great lawyer and a trusted colleague. He is very experienced and can handle any employment matter that may arise."
