Martha Weed (Mardie) was recommended to me by a friend who had used her in the past. When I went in for my consult, I realized that she was very knowledgeable and compassionate towards my situation. I found a lawyer I thought would be very good for my case then changed last minute because my family said I needed a cut throat lawyer and Ms. Weed is known to be that. The problem is I didn't expect her to be that way with me and I felt very uncomfortable with my whole experience with her. She c...onstantly told me she lost sleep over my case and oh how she was worried for me but the whole time she kept recharging me for forms and papwerwork she completed months prior. We never won a case in court and she was never prepared to defend me and I felt I was paying her to sit there while I did all the work yet my bill was over $20,000. I wish I kept my first attorney. Very dissapointed and I wish I could go back in time and stick with the first gentleman who I know would have been on my side for the court hearings and not huddled in the corner with opposing counsel laughing and cracking jokes while she charged me for her time.
