Mark Stephen Howard

I had Mark as my attorney for years during a long divorce, appeal and Alimony revision case and paid him a LOT of money only to have him ignore my emails, not correct a mistake HIS STAFF made on my Alimony timing with the state and the final straw was he set up a call after 6 months of no replies to ...16 emails and NEVER made it and wouldn’t tell me why. Beyond disappointed in him and if this is how he treats a long term client I guess it shows you who he is. And let me tell you about my appeal of the Alimony timing and amount. TWO DAYS before the oral argument with the 2nd DCA I get a call NOT FROM MARK but, his assistant that Mark can’t make the hearing but, will send his wife also an attorney to it as he had another case to take care of. Well guess what, I got NOTHING from the appeal but, large attorney bills. Again, IMO DO NOT hire MARK HOWARD.

Mark does an excellent job explaining what to anticipate upon entering the negotiation process and family law court system - provacative claims by opposing counsel, baseless assertions on the ex-spouse's financial affidavit - to keep us focused on a successful settlement. He effectively explained "p...ro and cons" of alimony options - lump sum, monthly, rehabilitative - with a practical approach to conflict resolution and ultimately, divorce. His experience and established network, particularly in Hillsborough County, affords him broad access to resources that accelerated my settlement. While his client, Mark was an efficient time manager, and respectful/cognizant of costs of services associated with all aspects of marital dissolution.

Mr. Howard was my attorney for my recent divorce. I had originally been Pro Se for most of the procedural filings. However, my divorce was going to trial and I knew I need an attorney now. I retained Mr. Howard on very short notice with only 10 days to prepare. I explained the details of the proc...eedings thus far to Mr. Howard and gave him all the filings. Mr Howard was very up front from the start. He explained that he could help me but could not promise anything. I was very impressed on how organized and thorough he was in representing me. In court, Mr. Howard was extremely knowledgeable of family law and proved his worth by being overly prepared, which resulted in a very favorable outcome for me. I avoided having to pay out an unfair amount of money thanks to Mr. Howard's skill and focus in the courtroom.

Mark was hired to handle my divorce, the cost of divorce was reasonable, he and his staff kept me informed at all times, but what I liked the most was his sincerity and true commitment to what was in my best interest. Unlike attorneys I have hired in the past who typically pawn you off to a legal ai...de, Mark makes himself available to personally meet with you and walk you through every step of the process. If in the future I require legal services of any kind, I would definitely consult with Mark first. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.
