Daniela Hogue grew up in the Miami Ft. Lauderdale area among an increasingly large Latin American immigrant community. She attended the University of Florida where she graduated Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Minor degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies. During that time Daniela also studied abroad at the Universidad Internacional Menendez Palayo in Santander, Spain where she became proficient in both spoken and written Spanish. She received her law degree from the Florida State University College of Law in 2012 where she graduated Cum Laude.
Daniela realized her desire to practice Immigration and Nationality law while in law school, where she completed courses in Immigration and Nationality Law and Advanced topics in immigration. During her last year of law school she completed a year long clinical program at the FSU Public Interest Law Center where she represented clients in immigration proceedings on political asylum claims before the Orlando Immigration Court.
Prior to joining Maney | Gordon | Zeller, P.A., Daniela practiced family and immigration law in both the non-profit and private sector . During that time she litigated divorce and child custody cases and assisted victims of crime and domestic violence in legalizing their immigration status by preparing visa applications for U-nonimmigrant status and VAWA. Daniela joined Maney | Gordon | Zeller, P.A. in October 2014 as an Associate Attorney in its Tampa office, and represents the firm's clients in all areas of Immigration law, including family immigration, asylum, immigration litigation (deportation and removal defense) and humanitarian visas for victims of crime.
Daniela was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012, and is a member of the Manatee County Bar, and American Immigration Lawyers Association where she serves as the New Members Division co-chair for the Central Florida Chapter.
