Daniel W. Hamilton

Daniel Hamilton is a licensed attorney concentrating in the legal areas of family law, foreclosure actions, tenant-landlord disputes, estate planning, civil litigation, probate, and business law.

Mr. Hamilton was born in Tampa and graduated from Brandon Senior High School in 1995. He graduated from the University of South Florida in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. As an undergraduate, he interned for Senator Connie Mack in Washington D.C. He attended the George Washington University Law School in Washington D.C. and graduated from that institution in 2003.

After becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 2003 he began his career as an attorney for the law firm of Walton, Lantaff, Schroeder, and Carson, LLP in its Tampa office. There he practiced in the areas of worker’s compensation and civil litigation.

In 2006 Mr. Hamilton opened his own practice in South Tampa and later in Brandon, Florida. There he practiced in the legal areas of family law, foreclosure actions, tenant-landlord disputes, estate planning, civil litigation, probate, and business law for which he continues to practice to this day.

Mr. Hamilton currently serves on the Board of the Sylvia Thomas Center, a non for profit organization providing assistance and counseling for adopted children and their families. He is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Brandon Chamber of Commerce, and the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Hamilton joined the firm in September 2012.
