Suspension with Conditions issued in FL, 2019

Admonishment issued in FL, 2014

updated on 02/17/2015

An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Donald’s comment:

“I wrote a scathing, mordacious, brutal, and scorching letter on behalf of a friend who is a public figure who was being defamed by a lunatic. The lunatic turned me into the Florida Bar after she removed the defamatory statements from Facebook. I admitted to the Florida Bar that I did write it and went a bit overboard. I wrote it with the intent of ensuring the lunatic would never again want to defame my friend in this lifetime. I did not ask my friend for any money in helping her with this.”

Suspension issued in FL, 2007

updated on 08/04/2014

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Donald’s comment:

“An opposing party turned me into the Florida Bar because he thought I conspired with my client who is a prominent doctor in the Tampa Bay area that absconded with the kids out of state. The Bar tried to pin that on me even though my client swore that I had nothing to do with her actions. The only thing that the Florida Bar was able to make stick was the fact my partner notarized an erroneous UCCJEA affidavit that had been prepared by our associate attorney. I owned the firm and paid the price.”
