About me

At Family Diplomacy, we help divorcing spouses end their marriage without destroying their family.  We offer collaborative divorce, a private dispute resolution process.

We now practice exclusively in out-of-court dispute resolution.

Attorney Adam B. Cordover is a leader in the Tampa Bay collaborative family law and divorce community.  He trains other attorneys, mental health professionals, and financial professionals to practice collaborative family law.  He serves as Immediate Past President of Next Generation Divorce (formerly known as the Collaborative Divorce Institute of Tampa Bay), successfully spearheaded an effort of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit to draft an administrative order safeguarding the principles of collaborative family law (just the fourth such administrative order in Florida), vice chaired Tampa Bay's Interdisciplinary Collaborative Family Practice Training, and speaks at religious, mental health, legal, civic, and other organizations regarding the interdisciplinary collaborative process.  Adam has also been interviewed on the topic of collaborative family law by Tampa Bay Times, Tampa Tribune, Bay News 9, Fox 13, ABC Action News, NBC News 8, and The World of Collaborative Practice Magazine.

You can learn more about this process at http://www.FamilyDiplomacy.com.

Adam also provides services for divorce, adoption, paternity, name change, prenuptial agreement, postnuptial agreement, and other family law matters.

  • Tanya Partee O'Connor

Adam’s leadership and commitment to serving clients, collaboratively, has inspired me and many other professionals to rethink how and why we do what we do. Adam understands that advocacy should focus on process, which greatly impacts and colors outcome. He is committed to supporting his clients and empowering them to resolve marital discord through the peaceful and respectful process of collaborative divorce. He is a compassionate and effective advocate, well known for giving 110% to everything he does. I strongly endorse Adam.

I am a divorce lawyer. I've worked with Adam Cordover on collaborative cases in the past. Quite frankly, Adam is simply the best, a pleasure to work "against," who represents his client collaboratively as well as anyone I know.
