Melanie was a great help in my family law matter. Her office kept me up to date on all status changes for my case and simplified the whole process.

Not only did Melanie handle my case professionally and competently, she was able to help me see past the emotional aspects of my situation and deal with the financial and legal things as needed. Melanie offered solutions to sticking points in the case that I would have never considered. Also, she was good at listening to my complaints, frustrations and ideas which I believe helped us come to satisfactory conclusion of my case. While the term 'satisfactory' may sound a bit mediocre, from the beginning I did not have very high hopes of coming out with very much. Melanie's experience and sensitivity to my situation made a difficult process not only bearable, but reduced my anxiety helping me to focus on important family related decisions. Both Melanie and her assistant Lisa were a pleasure to work with.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I am writing this on behalf of my 89 year-old mother who was actually the client. The adjectives and ratings are hers. I am merely the scribe. In our dealings with Mrs. Quattrone she was consistently professional. She made everything as easy for us as possible, especially considering my mother's limited mobility. Mrs. Quattrone was very organized. She thoroughly knew her material. Her patience and clarity in explaining everything was outstanding. Mrs. Quattrone's compassionate and cooperative nature made the experience of drawing up a will as painless as possible.

Melanie was incredibly personable during my consult with her. I believe she worked hard for us, and was very organized, but due to absolutely zero bedside manner, I started questioning whether the divorce could have been finalized with less time and money. I felt judged at times.

I have had several lawyers in the past. I retained Ms Quattrone for a family law issue. As nice as Melanie is, she was by far and away the most unqualified attorney I have had. She was not knowledgeable about the situation legally, gave me very poor advice and was not aggressive in my defense. Ms Quattrone cost me both financially and personally because of her inadequate representation. If I knew today what I know now I would not have retained Quattrone FamIly Law.

I hired Atty Quattrone based on the reviews on this site. I finalized the retention paperwork the week before Christmas and was told I should have something the next week. The next week I called just to find out she took the week off. Ok, no big deal, I get it. I did not receive the first document until Jan 10th, so close to 3 weeks. It took another week to get it the way we discussed. I sent a message asking if the documents had been sent to my ex for review and received no response. I found out 4 days later that they never sent him the paperwork. When I told her that I wanted my money and paperwork back so that I can move on, all I got were excuses for not doing her job. We went back and forth arguing before I finally called the Bar Association. It was not until I told her that I did this that she finally sent me my information back. My new attorney informed me of a parenting class that Ms. Quattrone never told me about in the 1.5-month timeframe that I was working with her. This other attorney also got everything done in about a week including getting everything filed. He showed me it was possible. Atty Quattrone clearly does not care enough about her clients to take care of them appropriately.
