After graduating from Stetson Law School in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1992, I immediately fulfilled my dream of becoming a Prosecutor. I served for sixteen years as an Assistant State Attorney right here in Tampa, Florida. I worked hard and moved up the ranks to become a Felony Division Chief responsible for thousands of criminal cases and training and supervising hundreds of young prosecutors.
I prosecuted over 7,000 cases during the course of my prosecution career including every type of crime from DUI, Domestic Violence Battery, Drug Possession, Burglary, Theft, Trafficking in Illegal Drugs, Robbery, Carjacking, Felon In Possession of a Firearm, Aggravated Child Abuse, Aggravated Battery, Attempted Murder, DUI Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide, to First Degree Murder. I personally litigated over 200 Non-Jury Trials and over 100 Jury Trials. I supervised attorneys responsible for thousands of felony cases.
In January of 2004, I took on the task of creating and supervising the first Traffic Homicide Unit in Hillsborough County. For the next five years, I specialized in prosecuting traffic homicides, in fact I handled every traffic homicide that occurred in Hillsborough County. My caseload included hundreds of cases involving DUI Manslaughter, No Valid Driver's License with Death, Vehicular Homicide, Leaving the Scene with Death, Manslaughter, and First Degree Murder.
In 2008, I left the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office at the pinacle of my prosecution career to begin my own law practice specializing in criminal defense. I formed Kim Seace P.A. and fulfilled my next big dream of running my own law firm. I look forward to putting all my training, knowledge, and experience to work for you in your case.

Incredible Job - thank you.
Kim was able to take a task that several other attorneys before her were not able to do. It did take some time due to the complexity of the issues, but she was patient with me, and helped me take care of each hurdle as it came up. Kim responded to my inquiries and guided me as needed. I would high...

She was very fair and did what she said she could do in a timely manner. The whole case was handled without the inconvenience of having to travel back to Florida....

Very Greatful
Kim eased our mind about our legal situation and explained the process at every step. She was always very kind, very patient, and she worked tirelessly to contact the plaintiff and keep an open liaison with the clerks office and the prosecutor. She got my case dropped and started the expungement proc...

BEST LAWYER, hands down.
She believed in me when not too many did. She kept me informed at all times, gave me good advice, and fought for me. I know it's her job, but she went above and beyond. In a way, she changed a couple things that overall made a big difference, not just for me, but for everyone else. She is very helpfu...

"Kim is a superb criminal defense lawyer. She is aggressive, compassionate, and fights like a warrior for her clients."
"I met Kim Seace while she was a prosecutor at the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office, where she was a zealous advocate on behalf of her clients. She has vast experience in the area of traffic cases involving DUI and other issues. I would recommend her to others in cases I have a conflict."
"I have known Ms. Seace for over 10 years. When I first met her she was a supervising attorney at the State Attorney's office and she was an excellent trial attorney. She was tough but very fair. As a defense attorney, I have come to know her as being well-prepared and well-versed in the law. She is still tough as nails and a strong advocate for her clients. She is one of the best attorneys in Tampa I have come to know. I endorse this lawyer's work."
"I have known Kim for years and have handled matters against her and with her, as co-counsel. Kim is a top flight lawyer -- always thorough and exceedingly well-prepared."
