Biography
Ms. Delgado is the founding member of Delgado Law. Cristina grew up in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of Mexican parents whose cultural values were instilled in her at a young age and evident in her business dealings. Ms. Delgado is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in the Arabic language. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in April 2000 and her J.D. from Cooley Law School in May 2005. Cristina is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan, the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Michigan, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and an array of grass roots non-profit organizations. While attending the University of Michigan, Cristina was a grass-roots journalist, focusing her writing on community advocacy for immigration reform and tolerance. She has been a driving force in educating the community regarding diversity and acceptance of cultures. Cristina has been the most significant liaison between the Hispanic and Arabic communities.
Ms. Delgado has worked closely with the Consular Office of the Mexican Government, as set forth in article 1(a) of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations by providing legal advice on matters relating to Mexican nationals within the consular district of Detroit, Michigan. She has established a highly regarded and effective relationship with the office of the Consular General that has bred both trust and confidence in her work.
Ms. Delgado has had numerous successes in her immigration matters including cases of Cancellation of Removal for Permanent and Nonpermanent Residents, appellate work, and family and criminal matters that overlap with Immigration and Nationality Law. Please see News section.

Competent and not afraid to litigate--go to trial and win!
Very sharp attorney--a little bulldog! Very competent and super aggressive. Will negotiate if you so choose but loves a full blown trial. Not cheap, but worth it. I'd do it again.
