Biography
Al graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2007, after receiving his Master of Business Administration from Villanova University in 2005. Studying pre-law, Al received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware in 2003.
He has been elected as a “Rising Star” by the SuperLawyers publication for the last four years running. Al is licensed to practice in Florida, including all federal district and bankruptcy courts.
In March of 2016, Al opened The Gibson Law Firm, and continues his representation of servicer clients, continuing to focus in contested foreclosures, deficiency litigation, and bankruptcy issues. In addition, Al takes on general civil cases involving contractual disputes, real estate and real property disputes and commercial/transactional matters.
An avid dog lover, especially bully breeds, Al will always fight for animal rights. Because so many restrictions have arisen with respect to these breeds, and the difficulty people often have in adoption, keeping and protecting bully breeds due to restrictive laws, ordinances or landlord restrictions, Al will take on any discrimination or breed restriction cases, and review them, pro bono.
