I normally do not participate in writing reviews; however, if it'll save a life then that means I've saved a nation and spared someone the heart ache and pain I encountered when hiring C. Karlan. She talks a good game during the initial consultation, her skills are far less than what she'll produce i...n a court room. After paying her a ton of money for my child custody case; she walked off my case while I was attending to my sick child that was hospitalized at the time for 2 weeks. Her husband is her Secretary and he avoided answering my calls when I had questions regarding my case. After weeks of trying to contact her after my child was released from the hospital, she made the situation about herself. Saying that she's on pain medication and too sick to continue working the case. The same day that I had this conversation with her I checked my mailbox; she'd filed a hearing to withdraw from the case. No probable cause.

Poor communication skills. She spent way too much time on non-relevant discussion (over 2 hours initial visit). Also was not very knowledgeable on subject matter and invested time reading law books while we waited. She agreed to follow-up on case within 1 week and after 2 months we have still not hea...rd back.
