I retained Mr. Miller on a Wednesday due to the IRS garnishing my wages from work, by the following week he had the Wage Garnishment lifted, and is working with the IRS directly to get me put on an a monthly Installment Plan. The IRS office he had to deal with was so unprofessional, and wouldn't return his, plus the agent assigned to my case was on vacation of course, so Michael had to try countlessly for days to get answers to my problems. Finally, after Michael made probably 20+ phones calls in a few days he was able to get an IRS Agent to finally work with him, and he/she signed a release form and faxed it to my employer putting an end to my garnishment. God forbid I ever have issues with the IRS again, but if I ever do, Michael Miller P.A. will be the man I call, and he's the Tax Attorney I'lll refer to anyone who is in need of one. I was liable for this debt and had no real defenses, Mike Miller was able to convince the co...urt to deny the creditor’s summary judgment motion on a technicality on two separate occasions. The creditor finally gave up and agreed to drop the lawsuit without any payments from me if I agreed to not sue them for my legal fees. I was extremely pleased with the effort and results I received from Michael Miller on my legal matter. I recently retained Mr. Miller to pursue my legal claim after I had personally spent considerable time and effort for over a year trying to collect the amount due me, without success. Although my ...matter was relatively small in terms of dollars (less than $1,000), Mr. Miller gave me the impression that my matter was top priority for him and he backed that up with his actions and work ethic on my matter. When his initial demand for payment was ignored by the debtor, most attorneys would have given up given the amount involved and the potential to spend considerable hours on the matter and lose money on the engagement. However, Mr. Miller vigorously pursued my claim for several months, even going as far as making a personal visit to the debtor’s place of business regarding my claim. The debtor got the message that he was up against a very capable and aggressive attorney and eventually paid my claim in full. I was also lawfully levied by the IRS and Mr. Miller was able to get the federal tax levy against my bank account released and somehow (i.e., through his tenacity, determination, refusal to give up or give in to the IRS, etc.) arranged for the levied funds to be put back into my bank account even after the funds were paid by the bank to the IRS. In addition to his relentless effort in going to bat for me, Mr. Miller was very professional and courteous and communicated well throughout the entire process. Needless to say, I was quite pleased to find an attorney that appears to place a priority on getting justice and the best outcome for his client as opposed to maximizing his fees and profit from the engagement.
