Ronald L. Bornstein

Areas of Practice: Marital and family law, probate and guardianship litigation. Professional Experience: Mr. Bornstein has nearly 34 years of experience handling complex marital and family law litigation matters for clients across the State of Florida. He also has extensive experience in probate and guardianship matters. He serves as a mediator, guardian ad litem, and attorney ad litem in family law cases and probate matters. Mr. Bornstein is a frequent lecturer on marital and family law topics, has several reported appellate opinions, and has argued before the Florida Supreme Court.

Professional Associations: Mr. Bornstein has again been selected as one of 2022's Legal Elite by Florida Trend, and was named the Palm Beach County Legal Aid Society’s 2009 Family Lawyer of the Year. He has been recognized by the Florida Supreme Court for his service to the profession, the community and the economically disadvantaged. He is a past Chair of the Florida Bar 15th Circuit Grievance Committee 15A; a past Vice Chair of the Florida Bar Family Law Rules Committee; served on the Florida Supreme Court Steering Committee on Privacy in the Courts; and currently serves on the Florida Supreme Court Mediation Fee & Indigent Status Workgroup.

He is past Chair of the Florida Bar Family Law Section's Rules & Forms Committee, Support Issues Committee, Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, Bylaws Committee, Membership Committee, Unbundled Legal Services Committee, and Ethics and Attorney's Fees Committee; Past Vice Chair and Past Secretary of the Florida Bar Family Law Section's Legislation Committee; past Vice Chair of the Florida Bar Family Law Section's Equitable Distribution Committee; and served for 12 years on the Florida Bar Family Law Section's Executive Council, its governing body.  He is currently a member of the Florida Bar Family Law Section's Legislation Committee, Children's Issues Committee, Support Issues Committee, Equitable Distribution Committee, Rules & Forms Committee, Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, in addition to serving on numerous other Sub-Committees.

He is also a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association Family Law Practice Committee/Unified Family Court Committee, the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit's Family Law Advisory Group, the South Palm Beach County Bar Association Family Law Practice Committee, and is a founding member and Vice Chair of the Collaborative Divorce Team.
