Left Stranded
I had a contract with Paul Herman for three years to eliminate some bad debt accounts that were overwhelming me . All the accounts went to charge off except 2 . One was eliminated because I made a payment settlement for and the other was discharged and eliminated from my records as he promised. ...
This complaint is unfair because every client was told of the suspension starting in July 2015 and they all received correspondence as required by the Bar Assn. and a subsequent phone call from an inventory attorney who took over the handling of all cases. This is a classic case of a client that did not listen to advice or understand the process and was expecting things to transpire that were unrealistic and unreasonable. But I can assure you that no client was abandoned and they received on going consultation

Credit Card
I hired Paul A Herman to settle my debt Ive been trying to get a hold of someone to help me and let me know whats going on .Ive paid him for 21 months and now I cant get a call or response.I thought he did a great job but know the creditors are contacting me and I cant get ahold of anyone. So would I ...
This complaint is ridiculous. It involved a client who did not get a call within a 24 to 48 hour and fired off a complaint. Every client was contacted at least once every two months regardless of any activity in their file. I was always available to be contacted and she obviously never followed up with a response after her situation was resolved. She just left the complaint out there hanging with no follow up.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM PAUL A HERMAN !
Credit/card and debt settlement WE WOULD GIVE HIM -5 STARS If WE COULD. I am glad to hear Paul A. Herman has been disciplined by the state. Stay far away from him. He abandoned our court cases which inevitably lead to JUDGMENTS. We paid him and received nothing in return but JUDGMENTS !! We are...
This complaint is not accurate. I did not abandon any court case, I was suspended and had an inventory attorney who with my help worked to make sure that every client was ultimately taken care of. The client that got judgment entered against them had no money available for settlement purposes or were unwilling to agree to any reduction in settlement and then got upset with the results.

A real debt relief program
When I first heard of this it sounded to good to be true and it wasn't. They told me exactly what to expect, any calls I received my banks were fined, any letters I received they were also fined, and any negative remarks on my report were removed promptly, and also carried fines against my banks. The...
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Mr. Herman for 14 years. I originally worked against him in workers compensation cases. I have also used him as a mediator to help settle workers' compensation cases. I have also referred many clients to him to resolve outstanding their medical bills and to resolve their credit issues. Mr. Herman knows the law extremely well. He is easy to get in touch with. He cares about his clients and tries to get them the best results."
"I endorse Paul. I had the chance to work with Paul and I found Paul to not only be quite knowledgeable, but he is well respected, and more importantly to his clients' benefit, he is able to cut to the chase and get to the heart of the matter quickly and efficiently. He is able to dissect the case, and work professionally yet still represent all of his clients zealously. I highly endorse Paul in his areas of specialization."

“I had a rouge paralegal who we later learned was a pathological liar and created a fraudulent order on a bankruptcy case that I wasn't even handling in the office. She scammed me into believing the case was still open and active, when in fact it was on hold for her failure to supply the BK court with the necessary documents. When confronted she had her daughter make believe she was the BK Judge's assistant on the phone assuring me that the case was still open when it wasn't”
