We bought into a timeshare years ago. At that time, the quick talking timeshare salesperson made lots of promises and guarantees which turned out to be very misleading. For example, we discovered that the annual maintenance fees increased significantly every year. Also, these fees are payable fore...ver; and would even pass onto our heirs. Due to these exorbitant fees and that the timeshare no longer met our vacation needs; we made the decision to get out of our timeshare contract. Easier said than done! The timeshare company would not take the timeshare back, nor would they help us in any other way. Selling was an option, but there were no buyers. We reached out to numerous timeshare exit companies.
