My wife was having delusions and mentioned minor SI and the hospital leaned on her sister until she signed my wife by proxy in under involuntary. The SI was a listed side effect of her prescription anti-depressant, not a legal reason to incarcerate her. They were excluding me, the only one with pre-s...igned HIPAA record and treatment access and she wasn't coherent enough to list all her meds or conditions.
