Mara Bernstein gets clients get divorced in the most cost and time efficient manner while mitigating the drama and emotional devestation that can accompany divorce. Mara does this by customizing her approach to each individual client’s divorce by asking and really listening to their goals, fears, objectives and priorities. After years of practicing family and marital law, Mara utilizes different approaches depending on each individual case such as Collaborative Divorce, traditional litigation, if necessary and mediation.
Mara is a veteran Family Law Attorney, Mediator and trained Collaborative Divorce Law attorney who practiced in New York City for over a decade before relocating to South Florida. A graduate of Cornell University with a Baccalaureate degree in Social Work and Law Degree from Brooklyn Law school, Mara is admitted to both the Florida Bar and the New York Bar. Throughout the years, Mara has litigated, negotiated and mediated the full spectrum of family law issues from premarital and post-marital agreements to post-divorce enforcement and modifications.
Mara is a member of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association, Broward County Bar, Family Law Section Mediation and Collaborative Law Committee of the Florida Bar, the South Palm Beach County Collaborative Law Group, ant the Florida Association of Collaborative Professionals Active in the community, Mara is a founding member of The Sophia Grace Foundation and Free Arts NYC.
