This took place back in 2000. Living in NJ, flew to Florida to meet a birth mother and go to first ob appmt. What a shock to find out that the girl wasn’t actually pregnant! Money loss aside, the emotional anguish was horrible. How do you not do your due diligence and at least make sure the girl is ...actually pregnant before meeting us? I hope that after all these years, Ms. Rutstein has gained more experience and provides a better service than what we got.

Jodi was our adoption attorney for both our children born in 2011 and 2014. Both healthy newborns. We thank our lucky stars every day to have been aligned with Jodi as our attorney. She was professional, intelligent and communicative and we felt fully represented, and fortunate, to have Jodi as ou...r advocate. We were equally impressed by her compassion and care for her birth parents. We were just impressed all around. While adoption is not inexpensive, the return in services is incomparable compared to being on an agency's wait list for sometimes years. Her work ethic is like nothing I've ever seen so her turnaround is PRONTO! Best of luck. Be ready :)
