President

Max did a great job handling a complicated case that involved: multiple states, construction law, a bonding company, government entities, and a dishonorable customer. He had to really research the laws and case history to address things int he right manner and in the correct time periods. A mistake... could have cost us over $100,000. The communication was very good and timely. It was a pleasure to have Max represent us. Thanks for a job well done.

HOA difficulties consultation

I was harassed repeatedly by HOA Board. The appointment was to receive feedback how to handle the situation. Upon arrival they requested the payment of $175.00. Soon after meeting and sitting down Maxwell started to yawn, I let that go until he started to yawn again. After I started to explain ...the situation he said maybe I should move. I am a 75 year old senior citizen and that is the best advise you can give? At the end I was informed that a retainer of $750.00 to write a letter on the information he collected and once the amount was used up another $750.00 would be needed. This was repeated to me several times and I was questioned if I understood what he said. I find that to be insulting like I was stupid. This attorney needs to learn some manners. He failed to give me any positive feedback or concern regarding my situation. If the money wasn't collected in the beginning I would have left the office. I would never hire him because he didn't seem to have my best interest in looking out for me in this situation.

Ms. Kullman, I'm sorry you did not enjoy your experience. If you'll recall, I gave you 90 minutes of my time for a 30 minute consultation. Please give our firm a call if you would like to discuss your concerns.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
