I hired this attorney to represent me . He did not! Instead he gave me a paper to sign that I was guilty. And this was after I paid him $3000.00. He never educated me to the law or how he was going to fight for me as not guilty. He condemned me before the prosecutor did. He had to be forced by the... judge to come to court to stand besides me. My william heffley was the first of 7 attorneys i consulted with after i had a legal problem, and i ended up hiring him because his fees are reasonable, he was respectful, always answered his phone and was very patient to meet with me when i needed and spoke realisticly. He did not claim things in or...der to get my business. I had one lawyer insinuate that just because he had worked with the state atorneys office he was better than the other attorneys at handling my case and he wanted to charge me double mr hefleys fees. I am sick and tired of lawyers using and droping names of places they had worked before or public office they had held in order to create an illusion that they can do a better job than other lawyers because of those positions they had taken up. We are in a country of law, only a good lawyer who knows the law can get you results and the rest is just illusions just to take your money.
