Troy Klein was recommend to me at a time when I did not know where to turn. A few months after a mediated and peaceful divorce, I was suddenly inundated with modification requests from my ex-husbands attorney. Out of the blue my ex-husband decided he didn’t want to be a part of our children’s lives... nor pay child support. I retained a local attorney however he was no match for my ex-husbands pricey, boutique attorney. I thought about giving up and just letting him have his way when a friend told me about Troy Klein. Troy Klein was brought on as the trail attorney for my time sharing modification and contempt/enforcement case against my former wife by my primary attorney. Troy took the time to understand the details of my case, who the players were and what I was hoping to get. Troy took several pages of detail...ed notes and then explained to me what I could expect, explaining his initial thoughts on a strategy. This included a few examples of case law he was able to draw from memory he felt would be applicable to my case. During my case, Troy continued to refine the strategy towards achieving the best possible positive outcome for me and my children. His attention to detail during the pretrial preparations was outstanding, and his organizational skills to keep track of all those details was simply amazing. One of the first things that happened when we got to the courthouse was several other attorneys made it a point to find out who Troy, with a cart full of case notes and documents, was representing. Each of them was clearly relieved to find out he was not opposing them in their cases. I knew I had the right man for the job! In the courtroom Troy's professionalism and experience was outstanding. The opposing attorney tried to box me in with numerous "yes or no" questions while I was on the stand. Troy then made sure I had the chance to explain my answers in detail, so I didn't feel like I ever gave a partial or misleading response to a question in front of the court. Having Troy as my trial attorney I had someone on my side who knew what to do in the courtroom, when to do it and how to make it happen. Having Mr. Klein there with me in the courtroom, made what should have been a stressful time, not a stressful time. I knew I had someone fighting for my children and I, in the courtroom with me. During breaks and at the end of each day of trial, Troy specifically made time to ask if I was happy with how he was handling my case, and if I felt we had missed anything (rarely, if ever).
