Finding a competent, trustworthy lawyer is a daunting and difficult process under any circumstances, and in Florida (especially after some exposure to the legal system around here) I assumed it would be a near impossibility. Scott explained my options thoroughly. He reviewed the facts of my case and was overwhelmingly supportive of my innocence. His service was comprehensive and his dedication, follow-through and advocacy gave me immediate and lasting confidence. When he told me he was able to negotiate a reduced senten...ce and that such a deal was a major "win" for me, I replied that it would be a major "win" for someone who was guilty. I, on the other hand, was not guilty of any of the charges and ultimately decided not to accept a reduced charge, opting instead to force the matter to trial. His response was that he was my attorney and he respected my decision and would fight for me, even though it meant going to trial for the same flat fee we agreed upon from the beginning. As it turns out, the state attorney reviewed the facts of the case and decided that Fl State Trooper Campbell acted maliciously, without cause. The state dropped all charges without going to trial. Scott was there to support and defend me however it went. I am grateful for his candor and his dedication.
