A blessing.. .

I was in a panic after finding out I had a warrant for a violation of probation one week before terming. It had to be the most high or im the luckiest person in the world that led me to Attorney Rogey P. FOLEY. I spoke with him within ten minutes he was contacting who he could and had a resolution f...or me by morning. Without him I could have spent months away from my children and possibly lost everything I had. He did all of this for me while on vacation. He did this for me out of the kindness of his heart. Everything he said he would do was done. He was totally honest with me about everything. Made me feel comfortable and I knew he truly cared about resolving this issue for me. I owe him forever I would advise anyone to consult the Law Office of Roger P. Foley, P.A. I am more than satisfied with the results of my case im surprised I didn't even think these results were possible he's super knowledgeable only took him a split second to look at my case and have a resolution. I can't thank him enough.

Simply put, Arrogance-personified

Early this year I called Mr. Foley's office about a legal situation I had. I called his Office multiple times and no one picked up the phone and it was after 1pm in the afternoon. When I did speak to a paralegal/secretary from his Office, she told me that Mr. Foley will contact me sometime that day. ...He did not. Ditto, the following day around 1pm in the afternoon I called his Office again to inform her that Mr. Foley didn't contact me. Eventually Mr. Foley did contact me. When Mr. Foley finally contacted me, he immediately started accusing me of talking to him personally about something I had no idea of. After explaining to him that I never spoken to him a day in my life prior to day, he simmered down. When I started explaining to Mr. Foley about my situation, he was more concerned about my previous Attorney and why I am no longer working him anymore. I didn't want to rehash the whole situation about how my previous Attorney was on my case for 2 years and didn't even know, or wouldn't tell me atleast, that the Search Warrant in question was "facially deficient" (No Particularity) or the fact that he never file a Motion to Compel to get the Search Warrant Affidavit for the aforesaid Search Warrant to see what the officer actually alleges about me; rather I just told Mr. Foley my previous Attorney told me and the Court (Status Hearing) that he will file a Motion to Suppress which he never did. Mr. Foley didn't care about that, he was more caught up on some ego stuff about him being the "Quarterback" and not me. Mr. Foley wasn't concerned about the merits/facts of my case (e.g. me being arrested in my house without a warrant). I told Mr. Foley that my case is 95% done, I just need someone to file a Motion to Suppress. The only thing Mr. Foley was concerned with throughout the conversation was his Ego and then had the nerve to ask me for $21,000 to take on the case.

Thank you for your feedback, and while I may not recall every detail of our alleged interaction, I want to address your concerns with transparency and provide context for my approach. Phone Communication: While it’s uncommon for calls to go unanswered in my office due to our system, I recognize that delays in returning calls can happen, especially when I’m traveling or in court. If there was any delay in reaching you, I sincerely apologize. Clear and prompt communication is critical, and I’ll ensure that my team and I continue to prioritize it. Initial Conversation: I understand that first impressions matter, and I regret if my tone or approach during our conversation was misinterpreted. I strive to approach every case with respect, focus, and professionalism. However, I recognize that I’ve used a “quarterback” analogy in the past, and I believe it’s important to clarify its meaning. My role as your attorney is to act as the quarterback—you, as the client, are the coach. My job is to gather the facts, present you with all possible options, and, once you choose the direction, execute the play to the best of my ability. This analogy is not meant to diminish the client’s role but to emphasize teamwork and shared responsibility in the legal process. Questions About Previous Counsel: When a client has had prior representation, it’s crucial for me to understand why that relationship ended. It’s not about judgment but about ensuring I have a clear understanding of the client’s expectations, any potential obstacles, and the dynamics that led to dissatisfaction. This information helps me determine how best to approach the case and whether I’m the right fit to take it on. Case Status and Strategy: When I hear statements like “the case is 95% done,” I approach them with caution. From your description, critical steps like obtaining the search warrant affidavit, reviewing discovery, and filing motions had not yet been completed. These are essential components of a strong defense. In such situations, a thorough review of the docket and case file is necessary to ensure no stone is left unturned. Legal cases are rarely as straightforward as they may seem, and rushing to file a motion without full preparation can jeopardize the outcome. Fee Structure: My quoted fee of $21,000 reflects the complexity and amount of work still required to build a strong defense. While this may seem high for a case you believed was nearly complete, my responsibility as your attorney is to prepare comprehensively. This includes not just filing motions but also conducting legal research, reviewing discovery, and potentially preparing for trial. Proper representation requires time, effort, and expertise to ensure the best possible outcome. I understand your frustration and regret that we were unable to establish a stronger rapport during our initial consultation. My goal is always to provide straightforward and honest advice, even if it’s not what someone wants to hear. Note: Had I seen this review earlier, I would have responded promptly. It seems likely that the case has already concluded, and based on my alleged fee quote, it appears to have involved a second-degree felony. Cases of this nature, without the proper legal motions being filed and granted, often result in incarceration or probation. While I understand that you may not be available at this time to provide further details due to incarceration, I encourage you, when possible, to share your name and the jurisdiction of the case. This would allow curious readers to better understand the results and the complexities of handling serious charges like a second-degree felony. Thank you.

Amazing lawyer that’s thorough and puts up a fight!

I was arrested for convicted felon in possession of a firearm, armed trafficking and trafficking 25-2000lbs of marijuana. I had retained another lawyer prior to finding Mr. Foley. The prior lawyer basically pushed it off until the courts wanted a trial. The problem was his solution was for me to coop...erate with the police which i was not going to do. I immediately started looking for another attorney and found Mr. Foley. This wasn’t my first rodeo so I set up a in person consultation to get a feel for things with him. Within 20 min of talking with Mr. Foley I knew he was the representation I needed. The courts were asking for 20 years and weren’t budging. I had the nastiest prosecutor who was a complete *****. Foley was able to start working the case immediately and within 2 months got the armed trafficking dropped. The trafficking was still there. We started prepping for a trial since they were playing hardball. Foley did an immense amount of prep for this case and met up with me multiple times to go over everything. One day he calls me and tells me he’s got an offer for 3 years but thinks he can do better. He gave me a 80% chance of winning the case in trial but the dark side of it all was if I lost in trial I would get 15-20 years. He was able to negotiate 2 years in prison with no probation and was still confident that I could win at trial. Since I got caught red handed and I was indeed guilty of the trafficking I told him I was going to take those two years in prison and be done with it. He said “are you sure? We have a pretty good shot at this in trial” my response was if it isn’t 100% guaranteed that we win I’m not going to risk 15-20 years of my life. What Mr. Foley was able to achieve with a short amount of prep time was amazing. He’s a no frills, straight up honest attorney. Works like an animal on the cases he takes in. I did my two years in prison and out my past behind me. I’m grateful to have had Mr. Foley on my side. If it wasn’t for him I would of been doing 15-20 years in prison. If I ever needed a attorney again I would without a doubt hire Mr. Foley. Thanks brother and God bless you.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for your incredibly kind words. It means a lot to me that you trusted me to handle such a serious and life-altering case. I’m grateful we were able to achieve a resolution that allowed you to move forward in a positive manner. Your strength and courage in making those tough decisions were truly commendable. I also want to express my heartfelt thanks again for the Bible you gifted me. That gesture will never be forgotten. It serves as a constant reminder of why I do what I do and the importance of helping people in their most difficult moments. Without God, I could never achieve the results that my clients boost about. I am but a tool. It was an honor to stand by your side and fight for you. If you ever need anything in the future, don’t hesitate to reach out. Wishing you nothing but success, peace, and blessings in this next chapter of your life. God bless you, brother!
