Kent David Huffman

I am the CEO of a Medical Device company and Kent Huffman has been our attorney since approximately 1984. Kent has provided sound legal counsel to our company through mergers, lawsuits, and other complex legal activities involving some of the largest corporations in the country. I have never felt o...ut gunned by the Wall Street attorneys on the other side of the table with Kent sitting on our side. Additionally, he has always been a pleasure to work with on the typical day to day legal affairs of running a corporation, and God bless him, I think he has kept us out of more lawsuits and dust ups than I can recall. Unlike most attorneys, Kent has wisely and unselfishly talked me out litigation several times when it would up run up huge legal bills for him but in the end prove to be unnecessary for us. That is the kind of honest legal counsel that is hard to find. Kent is looking out for our interests first and taking the long view for him, instead of just running up the tab, which drive me nuts with other attorneys. I let him take care of all of my personal legal affairs also and he does a great job on our Trusts, real estate transactions, wills, contracts, etc. I have known him a long time and I enjoy his company and feel fortunate to be able to turn to him for advice. I cannot say enough good things about him and I am glad I learned about this website so I can share my thoughts and experiences dealing with Kent through these many years.

I am a former senior corporate executive with AutoNation, Inc., a former Manager with Toyota Motor Corporation and the owner of more than a dozen small businesses at one time or another. I have hired nearly 100 lawyers over the course of a 25 year business career as a corporate executive responsible... for hiring all outside counsel for 26 states on insurance matters. As an entrepreneur I have won two malpractice cases against incompetent lawyers. Kent Huffman way well be the third. He does not return calls, only communicates through email unless he wants to get paid, and has the poorest communication skills on keeping a client informed on his case, responding to inquiries, or actively advocating for you as a client I have ever seen. On two separate occasions I submitted settlement offers on cases which were never even submitted to opposing counsel. That is malpractice. On a separate matter which involved a loan modification on my house which was facing foreclosure he did virtually nothing to either slow down or resolve the process or assist in the loan modification process. In my opinion, Mr. Huffman has no business practicing law. If it were left up to me he would be disbarred. Do yourself a favor and don't even look at this lawyer for your legal needs. You will never be more disappointed.

I hired Mr. Huffman for my divorce case and I can honestly say I thank god he crossed my path. I did not live in the area at the time, he work my case as long distance he did a very great job and kept me in the loop of everything. Most of the time I couldn't make it to hearings because I didn't live ...in the area but I had no worries, he represented me very well.
