I received my Bachelors from the University of South Florida in 1989 and my JD from Mercer University in 1993.
I was a former prosecutor for 6 years, have 17 years courtroom experience, felony and misdemeanor jury trial experience, and have been a Palm Beach County resident my whole life.
Since leaving the Prosecutors office, I have been practicing exclusively in criminal defense and the defense of traffic cases using my contacts at the Prosecutor's office as well as my extensive knowledge of criminal and traffic rules and procedures to defend all of my cases.
I have handled thousands of criminal and traffic cases.

I am a lawyer and Mr. Porcella beat my hubby's tickets.
We hired Mr. Porcella after receiving an advertisement in mail. He represented my hubby on 2 occasions in the past year and he won both cases. Case 1 was a speeding ticket. The case was dismissed, no points with 120 days to pay the court fine. Case 2 was a DWLS ticket that turned into a bench warrant...

He did absolutely nothing for my speeding ticket. I got points, a five of $281 and lost the money I paid him.
One, you can postpone a citation for upto three court dates. All hoping the officer does not appear to testify(this was not done). Secondly, if I am guilty of speeding, a attorney that cared would plead to withold points. Lastly, my previous attorney held up to his contract and returned my money if h...
Ms. Salomon also had a bad driving record which is why she received points. I can prevent points in over 99% of the tickets that I handle. One of the biggest factors that comes into play when a judge decides on points or no points is a person's driving record. I could not change the fact that her record was bad. The $281 that she had to pay was the face value of her ticket. Unfortunately, she does not understand the legal process in court. You don't just reset the court date to hope the officer doesn't come to court. There are many other strategies that are used and come into play to try to resolve a case in favor of your client. I work very hard for excellent results, unfortunately her record prevented her from getting the result she wanted.

dont waste your time with him
i told him i couldnt get anymore points on my license or i would be in jeopardy of getting my license supsended. so, months go by, i dont hear from him and i finally call and find out, i got points on my license, had to pay $281 court fees plus i am stuck with his $75 attorney fee. so basically, if...
Greg had a very bad driving record, which is why his license was close to being suspended. Some clients have an unrealistic expectation of the results that a lawyer can get for them. In the end, if he received a bad result it was due to his record, not from bad lawyering. If the officer comes to court and there are no legal defects in the ticket then you can be at the mercy of the Judge when a client has a bad record such as Greg did.

I would highly recommend him.
I have used Mr. Porcella (at "Dontpaythatticket.com) for myself and have referred him to family and friends. All are pleased with his services.

"I have personally observed Mr. Porcella be an excellent advocate for his clients. He is in the courtroom every single day fighting on behalf of his clients and is well-respected among judges and the state attorney's office. It is privilege to work alongside him and endorse him."
