While in law school, Vijay was on the Board of Governors for The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Law Student Division, Co-Founder of the Asian Pacific American Law Association, Representative-Elect of the Student Bar Association, and President of the Broward County Bar Association – NSU Chapter. Vijay was also awarded numerous honors, including The FL Bar Membership Award from The FL Bar YLD Law Student Division, Broward County Bar Association Constitutional Day Excerpt Reader, NSU Law Ambassador, Faculty Scholarship Recipient, Dean’s List for two semesters, and NSU Student Spotlight.
