Simply put DO NOT USE - I lost all the money I had to pay for a retainer and he did not do any work. Yes, he did respond to all texts but with excuse after excuse after excuse. When he finally said he did work, the was not acceptable and showed very little effort. If you are thinking he will repre...sent your best interests he won't - but he will keep your money. I lost my dispute on my credit card to get the charge reversed for a retainer where he did not complete work. Next, I am thinking of making a Florida Bar Complaint. The only thing that makes me feel better is Karma and one day he will put his trust in someone that will do as bad of job for him as he did for me. DO NOT USE. I would put zero stars but they make me put 1 star.

Barry Witlin is not trustworthy. He asked us for $3500 upfront and did not represent us. Anytime we needed him, he refused our calls. He negotiated (without our approval) with the birth mother. He took out money and made a lot of promises. He lies to his clients and leads them on until he realiz...es he can’t get any more money or he can’t hide his ineffectiveness any longer. He caused us our daughter! We raised a little girl from 4days old until 9 years old, and Barry said he could help us to keep her. He lied and continued to lie. He stop returning my phone calls and started emailing. He’s fake and I’m upset and disgusted. Beware of false representation! We lost our daughter.

Mr. Barry Witlin represented me in a modification/relocation case and did an outstanding job. He informed me from the beginning what to expect. As much as my ex husband did not want to cooperate Mr. Witllin got the job done. I hired Barry to help me protect my children from their mother's abuse. Initially he appeared to be very responsive and trustworthy. That quickly changed. Prior to the domestic violence trial in which my ex-wife would be exposed for her abuse of our children, he approached me and told me that a ke...y witness would give derogatory testimony against me. He urged me to drop the domestic violence protective order in spite of overwhelming evidence that my child was being abused by his mother. Although I refused, he still went in and told the judge to move forward with the settlement dismissing the injunction. I found out later that he misled me in order to get me to agree to a very bad deal which continued to expose my children to further abuse. I strongly urge you not to use Barry Witlin. He may seem knowledgeable but he is not trustworthy based on my experience.
