I hired Jaime Aird two days after arrest. This man was not there for me. He missed zoom hearings where I was left to represent myself, was late to meetings, didn't show that he actually cared. When I asked him serious questions, he couldn't look me in the eye when answering, and the advice was all ba...d. Now I'm stuck with a punishment that is completely unjust and leaves everyone in shock after the details of the case are revealed. Probation officer even said they can't believe what the outcome was and that I hired the wrong attorney. Don't hire Jaime Aird, go somewhere else and get someone who will actually fight for you instead of doing nothing at all for you. My home was broken into and even after telling him I want to move forward with a stand your ground motion multiple times, he refused and all but forced a plea deal. 8 years of felony probation after being beaten in my own home from someone breaking in. He stated I'd go to prison. The other person ended up with nothing but bruises while my right side of face was swollen, and right eye severely scratched. I have no criminal history whatsoever. He refused to proceed with the stand your ground motion. So much money paid, yet when it came down to it nothing was done. Couldn't afford another attorney after paying him so much and I got stuck with trash.
