Mitchell graduated from the University of Miami Law School in 1996 after earning his economics degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1993. In 1997, Mitchell took his first law job as a bankruptcy attorney at a small boutique creditor’s rights firm in Coral Gables.  In 2001, Mitchell opened his own firm and began representing individuals needing personal and business bankruptcy relief all over South Florida.  In 2012, when the Southern District of Florida Bankruptcy Court created a panel of a few local consumer bankruptcy attorneys to help create and develop the Court’s Loan Modification Mediation (LMM) program, Mitchell was a part of the team of lawyers that helped the Court enact this very successful mortgage loan modification program.

Excellent Bankruptcy Attorney!
Mr. Nowack handled my case very well at the meeting with the Trustee on every situation that came along with this case of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, he's a very professional and knowledgeable attorney. I highly recommend him. Thank you Mr. Nowack.

Like Having a Close Friend
Mitch handled my first chpt 13 which was very scary for me (now I am a pro). For some reason I got myself in a hole again when the economy changed for the worst. He welcomed me with open arms never looking down on me...always understanding, professional, available, informative and upfront. He doesnt tell you what you want to hear but what you need to hear.

Chapter 13: Personal restructuring of secured assets
Hired Mid 2013, and finalized 8 months later. Mitchell was recommended to me by an acquaintance. He is Professional, knowledgeable and most of all patient. I may have asked him 200 questions, of which he answer 150 prior to hiring him and remainder during case. (I'm sure he thought I was nuts, I needed to cover all angles, based from my research into take this course). He was frank, honest and prompted with every inquiry and via email - very convenient. Of all the lawyers I interviewed, he was the most open and realist in his answers. My case , was strategic default, such that I could restructure secure assets, I have no insecure debt. Basically give back the bank a property (not primary) that was 90% upside down , which they would not work with me to bring down principal , and issue the loss to me or allow a deed-in-leu with deficiency waiver. So, a sacrifice of credit now , saves me 120k , something I could not save or work over the remain time of loan. Sometime you have to Just cut your losses, and start again. Thank you Mitchell . 100% recommend.

Excellent Bankruptcy Lawyer
He took on my case back in September 2009. Everything was done in a professional manner with a lot of attention paid to the details of my case. I was concerned about filing for Chapter 13, but after going through this procedure with him I must say that it was a pleasure letting him handle my case.

Mr Nowack is helping me save my home!
Mr. Nowack is very professional and patient. I have been in foreclosure for many years and I had been attempting to modify my mortgage with the bank. For over 4 years I have been dealing with the bank and the bank has never taken me seriously. After I filed for bankruptcy with Mr. Nowack, he has been working with my mortgage company and I already had my 1st mediation with my bank to try to modify me!! This is the most process there has been with my loan ever. I am so grateful for Mr. Nowack and his staff.

Compassionate lawyer
