Biography
I enjoy bankruptcy law because I am really able to help people. Too much debt means you are unable to provide for your family & be a productive citizen. Too much debt may be the difference between scraping by for years to try & pay creditors (plus penalties, interest & late fees adding up to much more than the original debt), as opposed to, after bankruptcy, being able to provide for those that depend on you and allowing you to have a life. It may feel like a moral decision, but it's really an economic decision. You must realize that the bankruptcy law was enacted by Congress to assist people who would otherwise just never get out from under their debt. Bankruptcy allows my clients to wipe the slate clean & get a fresh start. A new financial beginning. The burden is lifted off your shoulders. That's what I mean by helping people & that's what gives me great satisfaction in what I do. I handle my cases personally & I have in 32+ years always prided myself on being sensitive to your circumstance, responsive & patient with all our communications. When you call me, you won't get a secretary or paralegal, you will get me.
