I would like to start with saying to all of you that Mr. Alan Fishman got me back my hope In life and trust that there is a good, honest Lawyers out there! Alan was recommended by a good friend of mine after I got seriously ripped off by a Cuban attorney in Miami Beach that cost me not only a ton of ...money, but also my Son! Before that I tried to represent myself but my advice to you: no matter what, do not represent yourself! Court takes issues more seriously from lawyers than when you represent yourself! Well I met with Alan, discussed my case and how much it would cost me. I gave him the deposit and he started working on my case non stop, and eventually had to travel to Okeechobee County to accomplish what I thought was impossible. Now, thanks to God and Alan, I am able to spend time with my Son and continue continue my life! Alan Fishman, my hard working Lawyer got me my life back! all im going to say is mr alan fishman is a great friend in my life and has gone above and beyond helping me , he took great care of my divorce handling it and especially my child support, most lawyers would have charged me extra and every time I called he managed to take time out of his busy schedul...e to not just help me but cared enough not to just get rid of me he took time to calm me down and has been a unbelievable friend , human being and great attorney, this man doesn't get the full respect that people should give him, his wisdom his 37 plus years are impeccable , I have used other attorneys in the past and will tell you none compare to mr alan fishman and his staff, and last im very honored and proud to have him as my friend , attorney and most of all , a man that cares about justice and liberty and making wrongs right for people. god bless you alan, and thank you from my heart.............

When I saw these reviews, I was glad to know I wasn't alone and am most appreciative that these are fairly recent. I was referred to Mr Fishman by another attorney when I wasn't in a position to really research divorce attorneys. Mr Fishman was a nightmare. Never responded unless the now ex had a co...ncern and when he did, he came off as if he was working for them. Perhaps that's why he gets endorsements from other attorneys? Never, ever kept me informed of any hearings or motions being filed. I eventually had to spend money and go online to find out that there was actually a court date for my divorce, among other things that had been set well more than a month before I found out that way. He seems to be judgmental, and anyone that has such strong feelings against his client should really not take them on. But, that's greed I suppose. Anyway, in line with every single complaint on here, completely agree and experienced it. Mr. Fishman, in my opinion, could care less about his paying clients, completely forget it if he sees you running out of money, may be sexist (not sure but seriously possible), cruises really close to crossing over lines regarding attorney/client confidentiality by simply not communicating with his client before doing whatever little it is he does. Cannot believe he is President of the Broward County Bar. God help everyone if he is considered by his peers as an example. And to those attorneys that endorse Mr Fishman should be ashamed because his conduct toward clients is unforgivable.a

This attorney came to a mediation in my family case. He failed to provide me any direction for the mediation and failed to sit with the mediator and other party's attorney when drawing up a new parenting plan. By neglecting to be involved in the process, he never knew that they completely changed m...y entire parenting plan, even parts of it that were not up for discussion in the mediation. To make matters worse, he had his office fax me the new agreement to sign and failed to inform me that those changes were made. I am certain he never even looked over the document before requesting that I sign it. Fortunately, I was paying attention to what I was asked to sign. Mr. Fishman failed to return any of my calls regarding this matter and I never heard from him again. This left me open to many further petitions and mediations over the same issue for years. This attorney does not care about his clients or being the professional he represents himself as.
