Scott Robert Zucker

Scott Zucker is a partner at Leader, Leader & Zucker, PLLC, a South Florida litigation firm serving clients across Florida with a primary focus on Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties. He represents individuals, families, and businesses in both basic and complex civil matters from straightforward disputes to complex litigation in state and federal courts.

Scott's practice centers on three core areas. In probate and trust litigation, he represents beneficiaries, personal representatives, and trustees in contested matters including will contests, undue influence and capacity claims, breach of fiduciary duty, accounting disputes, and personal representative removal proceedings. In insurance coverage litigation, he represents policyholders in first-party property disputes, coverage and bad faith claims under Florida Statute § , and related declaratory judgment actions. His commercial litigation practice encompasses breach of contract, business disputes, association and HOA matters, commercial landlord-tenant and lease enforcement, real property disputes, and personal injury claims.

Before joining Leader, Leader & Zucker, Scott spent years at Colodny Fass, P.A., one of Florida's premier insurance and regulatory law firms, where he handled a broad range of matters including insurance defense litigation, regulatory compliance, licensing, coverage counseling, and advisory work for carriers and industry clients from investigation and pre-suit through trial. That foundation gives Scott a perspective on insurance litigation that few policyholder attorneys can offer.

Before law school, Scott served as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, with deployments to Iraq and Africa. He earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude in the top five of his class. He is admitted to the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Scott serves on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Bar Association of Broward County and is an active member of the Broward County Bar Association. He is a married father of three and is deeply rooted in the South Florida community he serves.
