I filed for divorce using another Fort Lauderdale attorney in July 2020 and by October I terminated that client/attorney relationship and hired Elizabeth to take over my case. From our first conversation, working with Elizabeth was a MUCH needed breath of fresh air. Where my original attorney offered... zero clear strategy other than buying time and inspired only doubt and anxiety, Elizabeth stepped in and was a calming, reassuring, and knowledgable presence. I understand while an attorney cannot always make guarantees or predict the future, they should in the very least inspire confidence, which Elizabeth did for me every single step of the way. The overwhelming theme in my review of & recommendation to use Elizabeth as representation, has to be her exceptional customer service. I believe this is easily taken for granted while working with an attorney. While we all assume our attorney will understand divorce law, how they treat us and our case is what makes the real difference in the experience we will have. Elizabeth actually listened to me, communicated all facets of my case and potential scenarios, was available whenever I needed her, answered emails nearly immediately, never left me hanging or ghosted me, and above all and most importantly, she always did what she said she would do. When Elizabeth took over my case I explained to her that I did not want to wind up in litigation and that opposing counsel lacked any sense of urgency to settle outside of court while there was still money to be made (at my expense). Elizabeth told me she would get my case settled outside of court and it would be accomplished in a reasonable amount of time. I hired her in October 2020 and by March 2021 both parties signed our Martial Separation Agreement. From the beginning, Elizabeth controlled both the narrative and the "pace of the fight". Elizabeth created the context in which our settlement became possible while literally doing all the heavy lifting by providing opposing counsel with all versions of our marital separation agreement and parenting plan. No doubt in my mind had I not hired Elizabeth my case would still be in limbo, with zero end in sight. Elizabeth is the reason you must hire an attorney who specializes in family & divorce law. Elizabeth is a consummate professional, fiercely intelligent, and a real pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone going through a divorce. Elizabeth went above and beyond for me, far exceeding all of my expectations when I hired her and I am sure I was treated no differently than any of her other clients.
