I have been dealing with my case for a few years. When we first spoke (to an assistant) she took all my info and we proceeded with the case. I took half a year of work off and then had to get some PT work to support myself. The firm said it was fine. I spent a lot of money on Drs and PT. Judge later ...said those Drs are not SSI supported. Law firm never said anything. Lawyer had no idea I was working. After hearing said they would appeal if we lost because I had good feedback from VOC expert. Ended up losing and lawyer put in her notes that if I kept working no appeal. Never called me. I had to call 6x over 3 wks and then learned that they closed my case. Joke.

I do not recommend attorney Goetz or his firm, Gonzalez & Goetz. He is impossible to get a hold of and would NEVER speak with me personally. You are always dealing with an assistant and the turnover seems to very high so it is continually a new person... and I was told different information by multip...le employees on several occasions.

I was appointed David Goetz to represent me in 2009. There was a very long wait to go to court during that year. He met with my family and advised me how to deal with my appearance in court and it was good advice. He asked me important questions to best describe my limitations as a young adult. I was... awarded disability four months after that and was given a chance to support myself.
