I should begin by saying how grateful I am to find such an outstanding attorney when I really needed one. In 2018 after a really bad experience with my previous attorney, I felt like I was at the lowest point in my life. I do not want to explain in detail why because this review is for Attorney Allis...on and not for my previous experience. After I met with 7 other attorneys, I came to meet Attorney Allison. I met Allison in Aug 2018 and at the first consultation she gave me a lot of confidence in my case and she really takes her time to listen to what I want to achieve and really tried to work with me. After the initial consultation, I hired Attorney Allison to be my legal counsel for my modification post-settlement case. I was so impressed how fast and aggressive she was and taking control of the whole situation. Allison was always on top of things and the communication between us in these 2 years was always up to date. Anything she receives from the OC will be forwarded to me immediately and that’s what I like. Finally, after more than a year and a half of fighting back and forth plus delaying with the trial, I finally have a trial date set. During the time before the trial, Attorney Allison really helped and guided me with every step to be prepared for my trial. I was so nervous prior to the trial since it is my first time ever having to be in the court. Allison always comforted me and encouraged me and told me exactly what I needed to do. After my trial, I was so happy and relieved with the verdict from the GM and got more than I expected. This was the happiest day in my 4 years after the divorce. I thought I was hiring Carmen G. Soto instead got this nightmare. Allison Bishow lied to me that she was just going to “help” out with my case - she took my case from jump. For 1 year and 8 months she did nothing on my case. She kept filing motions to move the date and delay. After nearly two years s...he had the audacity to ask me for $4,000 more money. I decided to relinquish her services. Bishow’s legal strategy appears to be “delay-delay-delay.” She cost me money, time, and I lost my case.
