Adam D. Harmelin, Esquire began his career as a defense attorney for the Broward County Public Defender's Office in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he was lead counsel on many jury trials in both County and Circuit Court. After leaving the Public Defender's office, he started his own law firm. He has defended thousands of people charged with DUI as well as many other misdemeanor and felony offenses. During his career, he has argued countless evidentiary motions (Motion to Suppress, Dismiss, etc.) and tried many jury and bench trials in County and Circuit Court.
While in private practice, Mr. Harmelin has obtained numerous "Not Guilty" verdicts, including winning the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers "Hat Trick Award" for three consecutive not guilty verdicts. He is a member of the Criminal Law Section of the Florida Bar. Mr. Harmelin represents DUI and Criminal Defendants in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties.
Mr. Harmelin received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors from the University of Florida in 1994 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. He received his Law Degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1997. As a criminal defense attorney, he has devoted his career to defending those people charged with DUI and other crimes throughout the tri-County area in South Florida.

Suspended Driver License
