Robert (“Bob”) F. Cooke is the managing partner of the firm, as well as an equity partner, and represents automotive dealers, businesses, developers, financial institutions, homeowners, and condominium and homeowner’s associations. He practices all areas of law offered by the firm, and is an experienced trial attorney in both state and federal court.
A Miami native who enlisted in the United States Navy in 1973 at the age of seventeen, Bob served with distinction in the United States Naval Submarine Service for nine years. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering education at Southern Illinois University while still on active duty, and was selected for Naval Aviation Officer Candidate School, where he earned his Gold Naval Aviator Wings. He served the remainder of his twenty-year career as a Navy pilot flying missions over the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans to include assignments in Africa, the Middle East, South America, and other areas of vital national concern. After retiring from active duty and working in the private sector, Bob attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2001.
Bob began his legal career at the prestigious law firm of George, Hartz, Lundeen, Fulmer, Johnstone, King & Stevens, P.A., where he trained under the expert tutelage of Charles Michael Hartz, Esq., and eventually became a partner. In 2006, Bob started his own practice. Two years later, he formed Cooke Law Group. Bob has testified as an expert in various matters concerning case management, litigation, trial practice, and attorneys’ fees. He has also lectured in the areas of real property, contracts, and statutory law dealing with automotive dealerships. A true Floridian, Bob enjoys both boating and golf. As an active member of our community, he strongly supports the arts in Miami.
