Biography
Laura Rexach is an attorney licensed to practice law in Florida and Puerto Rico. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she is fluent in both Spanish and English. Laura obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Advertising from Universidad del Sagrado Corazon, where she graduated with honors. Laura graduated from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Law in June of 2009. During her law school years, she was part of the Federal Bar Association and the school’s music band. She also worked as an intern doing intellectual property and entertainment law.
After years in private practice, Laura recently joined CASA, a non profit organization aimed at helping immigrants. Inside the organization, Laura handles all domestic related cases. She helps victims get Protective Orders against the abuser, represents clients through divorce process, custody battles and child support, and also helps immigrants acquire legal status in the United States. Though this is the main area of focus of Mrs. Rexach's practice, she has broad experience in defending foreclosures, eviction proceedings, credit card defense and labor law.
