Admonishment issued in FL, 2009
updated on 03/02/2020An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“The 2009 admonishment had NOTHING to do with my competence as a lawyer or how I handle my clients cases. I have a concealed weapons permit and was admonished for displaying a firearm in a situation that I believed was life threatening. My actions were appropriate in the eyes of many of my peers I have discussed the issue with. However, the Florida Bar review panel gave me an admonishment.”
Wife now receives more than $4,000 per month alimony plus monies for child support. She also received equitable distribution of all marital assets. He paid most of the attorney's fees.
