Divorce with minor children
Jul 11, 2015OUTCOME: Wife now receives more than $4,000 per month alimony plus monies for child support. She also received equitable distribution of all marital assets. He paid most of the attorney's fees.
In this case I represented the wife. The parties were married 19 years. The wife was educated but not employed for the previous 12 years. The Husband owned a successful business but declared that he ... earned $60,000 a year despite the fact that he was paying more than $175,000 a year in bills. The wife came to me in a very desperate situation after her husband had left the home, blocked her access to all monies and refused to provide her with any monies whatsoever other than paying the bills in the house. I accepted her case on a minimal retainer, fought diligently to prove the husband's actual income.
