Leslie is easily one of the worst and most unprofessional attorneys I have ever worked with. Our business hired Amazon Sellers Lawyer (ASL) for a very straightforward case regarding false counterfeit complaints, and my case was handled by Leslie. I asked her at the beginning to please keep me updated... on the case as I do not want to chase down their law firm, which she failed to do. When I followed up months later, she could answer barely any questions about status and damages (I was actually shocked to find out she was a lawyer, I thought she was a project manager by how little legal advice she gave). She forwarded my case to the lead attorney, CJ Rosenbaum, who answered all of my questions and, after over a year of hiring their law firm, shocked me by saying that my case no longer had an upside because they were now only able to sue 1 out of 10 defendants, and because my damages were slashed due to past misfilings and the statute of limitations. He also apologized that no one had this frank conversation with me over the last year+ of hiring their firm. This was something Leslie, if she actually did due diligence months before we both invested time in this case, could have easily had a discussion with me on before even further damages piled up. Not only this, but I asked her to do so, and she failed.
Before all of this, because of a previous internal issue at ASL (they stated they did not submit my original case with the highest quality), CJ offered to refile the case in a different state, free of charge. I agreed and, as any business would do, kept a close eye on charges. Any time I brought up concerns with the charges to better understand our agreement, which sometimes included typos, miscalculations, or changes to this "free of charge" agreement, Leslie basically had a breakdown and started emailing me, a client, in ALL CAPS, as if that's even slightly professional, and basically blamed me for asking about charges (?). To say I was taken aback was an understatement. She already cost our case through her incompetence and thinks it makes sense to yell at me for asking questions about invalid charges.
Don't ever hire Leslie if you value your money and time. Again, it's shocking that she's even an attorney and she has no etiquette whatsoever. I was so happy to see that there are so many more professional and capable attorneys out there (like CJ) after asking her to leave my case.
