Bad experience IR1/CR1 application.

IR1/CR1 Visa application: This was one of the worst experiences my wife and I have had. In summary our application was neglected for 5 months with no contact at all during which time we assumed it was being worked on but this was not the case. We were patient and understanding in the face of COVID de...lays but there are no excuses for the level of service we received. There were positives, we had no denials and the USCIS stage was approved within 8 months which was good. The level of service disintegrated once we had paid over all of the instalments. We had to chase them on EVERY single email for a response, it took them months to upload a simple few documents. We paid all NVC processing fees immediately and responded to all requests for information from their office within a few hours. We had no contact from their office from June 1st 2020 to October 24th prompted by a mail from us on October 15th. They say there is a ’45-60 Business day’ timeline which is misleading. This timeline begins when they have all of your documents and information. It took from June 1st to December 17th for their office to request all of the required documentation, and it was well into February 2021 before they were uploaded. We had to constantly chase them to upload our documents, we provided everything very quickly to them and had to follow up almost every time for fear of not getting a response at all. It would not be uncommon for a week to go by with no response to an email. They didn’t take any phone calls during COVID which was a farce and left us feeling in the dark the entire time. We were consistently told that the delay was the fault of the National Visa Centre but this was never the case, the CEAC portal which an applicant/petitioner/attorney uses to upload documents was always operational. I was advised I needed to get all US vaccinations despite a quick search on travel.state.gov showing I only needed one. We were never informed of the need for the police report until the last minute. Forms were sent to us for review which were populated based on the info we provided and had inaccuracies. One form uploaded to the CEAC portal was uploaded in the wrong place inexplicably and was thus rejected. We needlessly required a co-sponsor due to us never being informed by their office that we could upload additional financial documentation to accompany the I-864, which resulted in us being charged an additional fee. These issues and more delayed our move to the US significantly. I can totally understand the US embassy in Dublin having interviews delayed due to the public health advice, but this was not the cause of our delay. We weren’t even at a point where the NVC could review our documents and thus were not in the queue at all. We feel there was a lack of empathy and understanding for what is a very stressful process. One would hire an office like this to take away some of the stress and provide a modicum of peace of mind, with no guarantees of success but at least a certain duty of care and efficiency. This is too important an application to risk the level of service we received. The only remedy we were offered was ‘an excellent level of service’ by a different member of the team to take over our case personally. This level of service is what we expected from the outset, not as a last resort. We were originally advised that we would be updated on progress and guided through the process, but this never happened. I would urge anyone thinking of starting the IR1/CR1 process, do not hire this office.

Great Advisor

Caro was very helpful and upfront. Caro was able to provide me with detailed advice on the impending risks that I have regarding my immigration visa matter and for this, I am extremely grateful. She didn't end up taking the case as she said right now it would just be a waste so we are working on a p...lan for the future. I really appreciated her honesty.

Provided advice that could have gotten me blacklisted from US for good

Firstly, I'm sure plenty of people have had success with this office but unfortunately I cannot say the same. After being denied at Dublin airport preclearance for not demonstrating home country ties, my partner and I reached out to the office of Caro Kinsella for help. Her assistant scheduled a me...eting for 2 weeks time in the Dublin office at something around $500. My US based partner flew into Dublin, only for the meeting to get moved out by a week later, just a few days beforehand. I was pretty disappointed as my partner had to return to the states. When the day finally came I went to the office myself and waited for over 40mins. My partner was waiting on the phone all this time to join. Eventually I met with Caro and told her my story. She had said this situation was common and refusal at point of entry is becoming more frequent but as I had not received any paper work at the airport and my passport was not stamped, my ESTA (visa which I was traveling on) was most likely not canceled and that it was most likely "immigration using scare tactics". She advised I should try to return to the US via an alternate route to visit my partner. After a few weeks mulling over this and googling I realized I could check status of my ESTA on the USCIS website- which I did and saw yes it was canceled indeed andI was not authorized to travel. During these weeks Caro's assistant had been emailing to schedule a follow up meeting ($$$). When I responded with a screen shot of the the ESTA status I heard nothing back. I realized this office was not trying to help here but just make more money. If I had followed through on the advice I had received, and tried to enter the US I could have been met with worst ramifications than refusal, I could have been blacklisted. Why I was told to "take a chance" rather than providing advice on how to check status of ESTA is beyond me. I'm happy to say we went through k1 fiance visa process ourselves and I'm here in the US with no extra money paid to lawyers. Based on the service received and poor advice I would not recommend Caro Kinsella.

Got my E-2 Visa because of Caro

I am an investor and really wanted to invest in a business I was starting in Atlanta. But I really didn’t know how to go about that. After connecting with Caro, everything was crystal clear. She helped me understand the process of visas and foreign investment policies. I first applied for the busines...s visa so that I could hire some people to make sure everything was going smoothly then we got the E2 visa approved. I would recommend her services to everyone.

Visa denied? Contact Caro!

I applied for the B1/B2 visa so many times and it just kept getting denied. I was so frustrated. I just didn’t understand the reason. When I contacted Caro, I had lost hope of getting it approved but she cheered me up and offered her expertise and told me the ways how she could try and get it for me.... And guess what, we did! Thanks Caro! You’re awesome.
