I am a U.S. attorney with more than 15 years of experience, admitted to practice law in both New York and Georgia. Born and raised in Ireland and educated in the United Kingdom, I bring an international perspective to both my immigration and real estate practices.
IMMIGRATION GUIDANCE — WITHOUT THE COST OF FULL REPRESENTATION
After 15+ years practicing immigration law, I created a practical way for people to access attorney-developed guidance without immediately retaining an attorney for their entire case.
My newly launched library includes more than 65 attorney-created Immigration Audio Guides. Listen anywhere, anytime, and as many times as you need.
The library includes:
• Legal consultations covering numerous immigration problems and strategies
• Consular interview preparation and deep-dive document preparation
• CBP and airport-entry preparation, including encounters with officers who can cancel visas and deny entry
• USCIS filing, application and interview guidance
For people who want to prepare their own immigration cases, I have also developed comprehensive Immigration Filing Kits. These go far beyond basic form instructions. They guide you through eligibility, forms, supporting evidence, document checklists, risk areas, common mistakes, interview preparation, attorney tips, final case review, worksheets and practical templates.
Need answers about your own case? Schedule a $149, 30-minute telephone immigration consultation directly with me.
REAL ESTATE — U.S. TRANSACTIONS WITH AN INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE
I am also a New York real estate broker and Georgia real estate salesperson, in addition to being an attorney admitted in both states. This combination gives me a distinctive understanding of real estate from the legal, transactional and negotiating sides.
My real estate practice focuses on commercial real estate, acquisitions, investors, developers and foreign buyers entering the U.S. market. I assist with transactions, contracts, negotiations, due diligence and the additional considerations international investors face when acquiring U.S. real estate.
IMMIGRATION LAW EXPERIENCE
My immigration practice represents clients worldwide in complex immigration, consular, USCIS and CBP matters.
I regularly handle consular processing, visa refusals, waivers, administrative processing, inadmissibility issues and interview preparation, including matters before U.S. consulates throughout Europe and worldwide.
My experience includes E-2 investor visas, L-1A intracompany transfers, EB-1 extraordinary ability cases, P visas, family-based immigration, green cards, temporary work visas, visitor visas and consular waivers.
I also assist clients facing CBP secondary inspections, airport questioning, sworn statements, visa cancellations, expedited removal concerns and other port-of-entry complications.
I am a published immigration author, with practical immigration guides available through Amazon and other major publishing platforms.

Worst experience we have ever had
Caro and her team seem to be more active responding to negative reviews than responding to emails or calls from their clients about their cases. A complete waste of valuable time and money with zero results. Caro's business manager "Rebekah" is the most unprofessional person I have ever had the dis...

Bad experience IR1/CR1 application.
IR1/CR1 Visa application: This was one of the worst experiences my wife and I have had. In summary our application was neglected for 5 months with no contact at all during which time we assumed it was being worked on but this was not the case. We were patient and understanding in the face of COVID de...

I do not recommend this lawyer
Spoke with Caro for a consultation regarding my husband’s visa. We found this to be a terrible, costly experience, and we did not take her advice. She talked AT us during the entire half-hour phone consultation, fielding zero questions and informing us everything we had done was wrong, and that his v...

A great supporter
I had a complex case with a visa overstay in the States and by seeking Caro's assistance I was able to understand the process and get the visa issued to me. Caro and her team were always kept me updated about my case by email so I felt comfortable even when I was traveling a lot for work. I will alwa...
"I endorse this lawyer. Ms. Kinsella's knowledge of immigration law, particularly her practical ability to create cutting edge winning arguments for appellants who's chances appeared grim is only surpassed by her knowledge of business immigration. I'm honored to endorse her!"
